i wna update about my work!
if sam's reading, i know he'll get bored.

telemarketing. at prudentials, paya lebar.
ive been working as a telemarketer for five days.
HAHA! eh. atleast i earned myself $120.
the hours werent enough. we're only limited to 4hrs per day.
plus, the project is bloody stupid. we had to call random ppl from the business directory to buy insurance.

let me tell u guys exactly how i say it on the phone.
Hi sir/maam, Im Yuni from Gen-Ins Porfolio Pte Ltd. We represent many insurance companies but today, we have a special plan offered by Mitsui Insurance. It is a personal accident cover plan of $1 million dollars for just $500 premium rate. I believe this is a very good deal, sir/maam, because it's impossible to find such offers in the market. So, if it is possible, can I set you a date with my agents to give further details on this unique plan?

and if they refuse, Mr. Lam (our boss) suggests that we tell them this;
Its okay sir/maam. Thank you for telling me this earlier. But sir/maam, I am just asking 10 minutes of your time to SHOW you something. In my opinion sir/maam, you will only stand to lose 10 minutes. So, when should I set the date for the appointment? Is Thursday or Friday okay with you?

i swear, i reached to a point i couldnt take it talking like some stoof. the only good thing was that i was working with people i know, luqman and sam or people i could talk to like hanim. HAHA. i would seriously miss those times we sms each other even tho we're just steps away because we're too lazy to walk out of our office rooms. oh. and the last day was fun. calling friends up for fun. hahaha. i made abduh go out of his classroom just after he reached half an hour late for class. i accompanied farhan all the way to his school. and i just annoyed helmy. fun sia.

and the best thing on the last day was.. me and sam left after only 2hrs of work and i bought strait times to look for a new job. we went for a walk-in interview at bugis for a service crew spot at tcc.

WHICH.. i will talk about now.
went for the walk-in interview. found out that we had to serve alcohol and might have to work night shift until 4am. but i lied to the manager, telling them that my parents are fine about the serving of alcohol. haha. it was fun sia answering questions the way they wanna hear. like for example, the guy asked why i wna work as a service crew. and i told him because i like interacting with people and making their day and blablablablabla shit when the plain fact was just because i wanted extra money. hahahha.

anyway, i will start this work tmr. the orientation is at 10 in the morning. hafta meet sam at 915. i hope we dont get lost again like last time. [he brought me to raffles HOSPITAL when actually we were supposed to be somewhere near raffles HOTEL last time. worst thing was, we WALKED all the way there from lavender. and all he had to say was, 'sorry ah. confuse. sebab ader 'H' ngan 'L'. dekat2 aper. hehe' and just fyi, we never got to that place. we detoured to bugis junction for the next walk-in interview venue. heh.]

im bloody excited!
all black attire. having a UNIFORM. partnering with a buddy i wont know until that morning. waitressing for the first time. hoohoo. its gna be fun!
