first of all, i wanna say that i ROCK at baking. x)
yesterday, i made peanut butter bar and although, using the still screwed-up oven, it turned out real nice. even though i felt it was abit not well done, it was pretty popular. everyone was eating and praising me. that felt nice! (:

and then today... i saw a new recipe for chocolate brownies and in the pictures, they looked nice, so i decided to bake them. and daym! i love it ah.. actually everyone else loves it too. had to keep their hands away from the tray so that i could keep some for my dad and ika when they come back home later. its sooooooo CHOCOLATE-Y and SOFT & LIGHT. foooh.
every other brownie recipes i've tried, there's always something lacking. but this one is PERFECT. delicioso. x)

oh yeah. nearly forgot.
i was supposed to rant about yet another bloody toe incident. its the third toe this time, of the SAME foot. i was at the kitchen. prepared all the ingredients to make the brownies and then i went to the kitchen cabinet to fetch the measuring cup. as usual, i pulled the cabinet door. suddenly, a tall glass fell from the top shelf and hit the floor. it ricocheted off to my left foot, which happened to be there, before breaking into little glass pieces. i moved back so that i wont meet any of the sharp glass fragments. ira came to help me out. then suddenly, i saw blood dripping from my foot. i was just staring at it for a few seconds. ira called my mom to show her the pool of blood. i was still wondering where the hell did the blood come from. by then, the blood already stained the floor and the size of it was bigger than my palm. a little toe lost that much blood. it was even more than what my big toe lost. it felt like a red ant's bite, which doesnt hurt at all. cool huh?

then i ran to the toilet and sprayed water on my foot. and that was when i saw a small but deep tear at the back of my third toe. it hasnt stop bleeding until ira brought a small bandage and a cotton wool which i wrapped around to make it stop bleeding. the first time we tried, we hadta throw the bandage away cos there was too much blood on it. grr. its sooooo irritating, you know. just when my big toe was about to heal, the other one caused problem.

the bandage and cottonwool are soo thick that the third toe potrude out and is as big as the big toe. grr.
fyi, i took pictures of it too. x)

p.s. i dont think the glass fragment was the cause of it. cos there wasnt any glass pieces on my toe and from my knowledge, it doesnt look like a cut from a sharp glass at all.
